Surf Boss is an all things surf store located South Africa and France. I designed their visual identity in 2020.
The type of surf board in the logo is one of their top selling boards. I also sneaked in a silhouette of a tie to keep things professional. The Surf Boss logo is memorable in all forms, from primary to symbol.
The colour palette was inspired by an image of one of the surfers that SurfBoss sponsors.
I ended up designing a few logos for them. They eventually went with one of the first designs I presented.
